A Christmas thank you to you all

My-Ikea-stars
Christmas is a time for..... gratitude, appreciation, and thankfulness.
For me personally I am thankful:

1. To Christ for being born.

2. To my family. When I look back over experiences we have had together this last year...tears immediately come to my eyes...seriously, what is that? Why is that? How can family jerk at your heart strings so incredibly powerfully?

3. To all of you, my readers and subscribers. I never much hear from you, I don't really know who most of you are, the silent watchers... the silent readers and observers...but I appreciate very, very much the fact that you take the time to read my blog. I personally give out to each one of you a HUGE GESTURE OF THANKFULNESS AND GREATFULNESS, May we continue to walk together for many a year to come yet. Happy, Happy Christmas my friend!

4. To myself...it's been a good year, not overflowing with goodness each and every day.... as always there have been innumerable trials and hurdles, to leap over. But I am happy to report nothing has completely overwhelmed me as yet. I am still walking planet earth. Phew.

This year I went all Ikea, love their Christmas decorations
Ohhh a black star
One of my mothers old silver containers
Gentle soft reminders of New Zealand
Decorations adorn my coffee table
Christmas display
Paper decorations the Grandies have made
Presents the Grandies have wrapped.
Star on the staircase
The angel of the Lord on my side table!
Lights light
Lights dark
Its dark outside and not a sound could be heard. My Ikea Christmas tree light
Table centre piece
This nativity scene was being put up in some faraway country town clothing shop. I stopped to photograph it as it filled the entire shop and took preeminence over everything else in that little clothing shop. I was so happy that in some places, in some towns, and some people still hold dear the traditions of long ago.

Happy Christmas, happy times and happy family gatherings wherever you are. And THANK YOU once again.
