A pink summers day at some of Adelaide's finest beaches.

Eva

It is so very hot outside today, I thought I would stay indoors and collect some more of my images from days spent at the beach and write a blog post. I think I have already posted two previous blogs on our beaches but hey, heck, why not a few more.

The weather is hot, hot, hot! One mostly has to stay indoors and keep as cool as possible!

Yesterday started at the Hallett Cove beach...such a beautiful sight..... and ended at the Port Noarlunga beach with an amazing sunset. The warm weather does have its perks.

Yesterday a morning stroll to the beach and a yacht was moored quite close to shore. Summer has very low tides, and once the crew awoke I noticed they immediately headed for deeper water.
Crew still asleep, allowing photographers (well only me) to take advantage of the calm and still waters.
Pink
Birds close by
A tern or two.
Pink still on the horizon
The local fisherman busily catching the early morning fish in the distance.
Throw the line out on the other side boys.
Then very late afternoon we return to the beach with the Grandies and stay late till the day has cooled down.
Splash
As the time goes on the sky turns from white and blue to pink and dusk. Lone boat man
Port Noarlunga jetty.
Games to play, castles to build, swims to be swum....
Casting
Blurry bird
Clear bird
Skies of pink and blue
"You be the mermaid .. NO hang on I'll be the mermaid..." "NOOO, I'll be the mermaid..."
Fun in the setting sun
With so much playing to be done they did not notice the fiery sun...
..until the photographer made them stop for a moment and look at its blazing glory!!
So the day ends, heat irretrievable and beauty undeniable.

Maybe next week brings a cool change.

These sunset images are untouched, I find these type of images are the only images I never edit, as the colour and light is so bright it's best to leave them as they are.

See you next time. W
