What is stopping you? Just get started....

What is stopping you? Just get started....
Boredom can be the mother of invention...

When you are not able to frequent all those beautiful and exotic locations that so many other photographers seem to visit, and you sit dreaming and staring into the vast blue yonder, that's when you start doing crazy things with your camera.

You may or may not like the resulting images, but it helps you:

*Gain a greater knowledge and understanding of your camera.

*Opens new and interesting doors of creativity.

*Unlocks your narrow view of photography and gives you another perspective.

Every artist had to start somewhere, usually at the bottom, they crawled, dragged, pushed, and clawed their way to freedom of expression by experimenting and taking risks.

Not listening to "It can't be done." But listening to their heart!!

Whatever you do in life, don't be dictated to by the limits of others, or the limits of your own thinking.

Never stop learning, not only does it keep your brain updated, but it certainly helps with ones general outlook and well being.

In the first two shots I photographed a palm leaf up really close and then placed another object in the pic. The tree in the first image and the power lines in the second. Then converted both to black and white.

In the last three images, I slowed my shutter speed down 1 fifth of a second, f stop 29, and moved the camera at the same time as I pressed the shutter button.

Line upon line.
In flight.
Golden grass.
