Why we should look up and not down.

Why we should look up and not down.

I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness; I hear the approaching thunder that one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more.

Lift up your head, you are noble and honourable. Lift up your eyes you are wise and visionary.

Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. Col 3.2

I always find it refreshing and uplifting to look at the clouds, their boundless formations and constant changing is inspiring and fills my mind with hope.

It's strange that the bowing of our head signifies submission, sadness, lowliness, distraction, boredom, depression, reverence, self doubt, guilt, not that these are all bad, however the raising of our head tends to signify glory, victory, vision, passion, height, heaven, overcoming, pride, hope, energy and life.

Wisps of wind.
I'd rather be reaching for the clouds, though I may never fly.
The closer I get to heaven the lighter it gets.
The windmills of time, reaching high to draw that ever elusive water to our dry souls, so they can be quenched and refreshed.
If I were born a bird I would soar with the wind and fly to meet the clouds..
I stretched too hard and too far, now I'm all bent out of shape.
Have you heard the sound of the mighty blades as they pass through the clouds.
The heavens shall declare. This cloud was enormous and covered most of the city of Adelaide. Taken a few months ago from the beach.
