How minimalism in photography captures the imagination

White-bir_20180616-072212_1

What do you think of when you gaze at the generosity of creation?

For me, I find the immense space and expanse of the universe calming and yet absolutely astounding!

The imaginations of most people is often more stimulated by what you leave out of your shot, than what you put in.

The space you create in an image leaves room for the mind to wander and the imagination to see.

To create that sparse feel in an image:

*Look for unusual skies.

*Cloud formations that are striking work as a great background. Mist and fog are also good to work with.

*Remove all other distractions by framing only what you want to capture.

*Patience....Wait for that solitary bird or person to come by.

*Have you camera on the movement setting.

* Have fun.
