Finding simplicity in life

In 2018... something that I enjoyed so much was photographing FIELDS!!

The vast open spaces of a field, illustrate perfectly to humanity the beauty of simplicity.

I guess that is what pleasure often is, the simple things in life.

The moments where you are not stressed and experiencing something normal and good.

It could be talking to a friend, it could be shopping, it could be walking in the countryside.

The Dutch have a word called "Gezellig." The Danish have a word called "Hygge." They both mean, a sense of well being and inner joy experienced from the simple things in life.

The bible says "The joy of the Lord is your strength." I seriously think we can deliberately manoeuvre our circumstances to put moments of joy in our life.

Why not get your camera and take a long walk into a harmonious and life filled field.

These times make us stronger and give us a greater appreciation of life.

As you browse through these images I hope they reveal to you that nature and life, can be  simple and straight forward, uncluttered and uncomplicated.

Fields of yellow
Fields of eye grabbing canola
Fields of grass
Fields of wheat
Fields of purple flowers
Fields of snow
Fields of sand
Green fields
Lavender fields
A ray of light shining through.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my blogs this year. I truly appreciate and value your time and contribution to my world, and I hope in some small way it has brightened and simplified your world.
